Two critically injured in highway smash

TWO people are in a critical condition after a bus collided with a semi-trailer in front of a motor vehicle dealership near Coonoc Road in Traralgon yesterday.

The 57 year-old bus driver was flown to The Alfred Hospital and a 28 year-old passenger to the Royal Melbourne Hospital.

According to police, another two people were taken to Latrobe Regional Hospital with serious injuries and 13 were treated for minor injuries.

The bus carrying 17 passengers was Traralgon bound when it collided with the semi-trailer on the Princes Highway west of Traralgon.
